On August 4th 2008, OPSEU Local 507 and OPSEU Region 5 Present a Screening of "Arno Peters: Radical Map, Remarkable Man" featuring interviews with Arno Peters, creator of the Peters Equal Area World Map. Peters' work called into question Eurocentric attitutes in cartography. Admission is open to OPSEU members and the public by donation. All Proceeds will go to the Live and Let Live Fund.
Viewing of the film will be followed by discussion
